Note: The Japanese Employee Pension Fund Report is analyzed based on the Fund Earning Reports that were submitted to The Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare (According to the Pension Rule Number 56 Article 2) every fiscal year from the Investment Management Teams. This report is precisely reviewed and revised as of September 26, 2012 and it documents data as of March of 2013. The total number of funds found as of March 2013 is 560.

Total Assets of the Employee Pension Funds that were allocated as of March 2013 reached a total of 18.838 trillion JPY. Among the different investment types, 17.5% were allocated in Other Investments such as Hedge Fund, Real Estate, Private Equity and other alternatives.
